Student Life: The Discover Programme

  • At Amethyst 6th, all students are expected and fully supported to participate in enrichment activities. Enrichment develops the whole being and helps you learn new things about yourself, as well as learning and developing new skills and qualities valued by employers which will help to boost your CV and UCAS application. Above all, it allows you to experience life at its fullest. Most of these will take place outside of lesson time, but some are directly linked to your subjects such as work experience and practical activities.
  • To fully support you with enrichment, as part of the ‘Discover Programme’ we offer an exclusive enrichment timetable and form time enrichment programme. We offer a wide variety of different enrichment experiences.

Breakfast Study Socials:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and here at sixth form we want to help you start your day right whilst giving you support academically and pastorally. Every morning, breakfast is offered completely free of charge and sixth form teachers and leaders are on hand to have an informal chat with you or give you any support you may need.
